Old Time Radio Stories at Ozland.
Sunday 16th May at 11 am - 1:00 pm SL Time join us at the Cat Inn to hear a Dragnet radio series episode 'Brick-bat Slayer' from 1949 followed by an 'Astounding Science Fiction' story from 1955 'Requiem' by Robert Heinlein. Period radio adverts here and there (for your amusement) and old time music to dance to before the stories (Stories from around 11-30am - 12-30pm SLT).

Sunday, May 16, noon-2PM SLT, Come to the Frank Lloyd Wright Virtual Museum at Usonia for the inaugural event in the monthly lecture series. Miltone Marquette, builder of three of the Wright homes originally displayed at the museum, will give an illustrated talk on: "Dualism in Design: The Simultaneous Embrace of Technology and Nature in Frank Lloyd Wright's Architecture."

Sunday, May 16, Graham Tuttle DJs the blues to warm you up for nine hours of live entertainment. All donations from the event will be given to the UK based charity, Help for Heroes. Raglan Shire is hosting its 5th ArtWalk May 9-30, 2010. A 3-week long, multi-sim art festival, it is one of the art highlights of SL. Reproductions of RL artwork (painting, drawing, digital media, etc.) and SL artwork including photography and sculpture. Art Exhibit Paintings, Going on now.
Civil rights, equal protection under the law...
These are only some of the themes in my painting exhibition "Law and Art." These are rl paintings, all of which have been in rl art shows. Most have been sold and hang in private collections and in law offices.
Remember, the time is ticking. Tomorrow is the 56th anniversay of the U.S. Supreme Court decision in
"Brown v. Board of Education." One painting, inspired by that decision, is on sale for only $L 200 (instead of $L 1,200), only until May 31st.
You need not be a lawyer to appreciate this exhibit. Additionally, there are informational signs and note cards avaialable for your conveneince. You can always IM me for more information or with any questions you may have.
